A New Year or a new beginning of the Islamic Calendar
The Muslims celebrate by praying and remembering the journey of the Prophet Muhammad's migration to Madinah (Simply known as the city) After that It's famously known as the city of Prophet Muhammad.
Remembering my teenage years, days like this I will always stand on my kitchen balcony and listen to the chants and sounds of the prayers from the Mosque. I lived not far off the city's big mosque. Everyday I hear beautiful echoes of prayers from the Mosque as though it's coming from the sky. To me it's very soothing and it felt heavenly. I cherish every moment of it and feel very peaceful.
We in Malaysia, as Malaysian it is only right to celebrating it with our Muslim friends their history of Islam. Selamat Maal Hijrah or Happy New Year to all my Muslim Brothers & Sisters.
